This Privacy Policy describes how the Offline Conversions for Meta Tool(the "Application") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use our Google Sheets add-on. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your data remains secure within your own Google environment.
The Application requests access to specific Google user data through the following scopes to function:
spreadsheets.currentonly & drive.file: To read conversion data and write status updates within the specific spreadsheet you have opened.
script.external_request: To transmit hashed data to the Meta (Facebook) Graph API.
userinfo.email: Used solely for license validation and to identify your subscription status.
We use the information gathered from your Google Sheets solely to:
Validate your user license.
Process and format offline conversion data for Meta.
Update your spreadsheet with transmission results (e.g., "Sent" or "Failed").
The Application does not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Transfer to Meta: Data retrieved from your Google Sheets is exclusively transferred to the Meta Graph API (Facebook) solely to fulfill the conversion tracking events (e.g., Purchase, Lead) requested by the user.
Third Parties: No other third parties have access to your data. We do not disclose Google user data to any external entity unless required to comply with the law or a valid legal process.
We implement robust security measures to ensure your sensitive data is protected during processing and transmission:
Local Hashing: All sensitive user identifiers (such as email addresses and phone numbers) are hashed using the SHA-256 algorithm locally within your Google Apps Script environment before any transmission occurs.
Secure Transmission: Data is transferred to Meta via encrypted HTTPS protocols (TLS) to prevent unauthorized interception during transit.
We maintain a strict zero-retention policy for Google user data outside of your own Google account.
No External Storage: The Application does not store, save, or retain any Google user data on any external servers or databases.
User Control: All data remains within the user's own Google Sheet. You can delete your data at any time by removing it from your spreadsheet or by revoking the Application's access via your Google Account Security Settings.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
